Real World Testing
This Real World Test (RWT) plan is intended to verify the adoption of eHana v2019-MU certified functionality. The plan outlines the process for conducting and measuring observations of interoperability and data exchange.
The RWT plan will focus on certification criteria, represented as individual user stories, in a single Ambulatory setting of care.
Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
Supported Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Use Cases: eHana supports three methods for user authentication: 1.) Credential storage in the EHR 2.) LDAP/AD integration, and 3.) SAML 2.0 (preferred)
SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a widely used industry standard Single Sign On (SSO) protocol. This method of authentication can be enabled for any customer that uses a SAML 2.0 compliant identity provider. Multi-factor/Two Factor Authentication A major benefit of using SAML 2.0 authentication is that most SAML-compliant identity providers support multi-factor or two-factor authentication (MFA or 2FA). Many cybersecurity insurance vendors require support of MFA or 2FA for coverage.
